About The Project

Doorcounts is a customized ERP + CRM Software Retail Sales cloud system. It provides a platform for our clients to manage and keep track of all their activities whether it is managing Sales data, Inventory management, or the data of their Customers. Trusted by 2,000+ sales pros and retailers everywhere.

    • Average foot traffic
    • Time spent with customers
    • Daily revenue
    • Average ticket and more

Problem

The Software that they were using earlier to handle all sales and customer data was not interactive and user-friendly.

The Solution

We deployed new technology by using Oracle APEX to make their platform User friendly and interactive. Now, it’s simpler to update and fill data using Interactive reports as well as time-saving on busier days.

Timeframe

It is an ongoing project that was started in 2015.

Resources

Oracle APEX developers, Project manager, QA Testers, DBA

Scalability

We have efficient resources to deliver the work on time as per the client’s requirement.

Technology Used

Advanced PL/SQL, Javascript, J Query, API’s Integration, Node Js, Python, AI/ML.

New Development

Recently, we started a new Subproject of Doorcounts i.e. Doorcounts AI. We are now embedding Artificial Intelligence in our software. Earlier, we were using motion detection to detect the persons and using the store cameras to capture customers’ as well as employees’ pictures and assign them to the salesperson, so that they can keep the record for that. Now, we are using person detection for the same. Now in the coming future, we are even planning to work with facial recognition, so that we can recognize employees and customers.

Methodology

We follow Agile methodology to keep the track of work. The Agile methodology is a method of project management that divides a project into phases. It entails on going collaboration with stakeholders as well as continuous improvement at each stage. When the work begins, teams go through a cycle of planning, execution, and evaluation

We follow Sprints that run for two weeks and after every two weeks, we deliver the features and enhancements that we worked on according to the priority of the client. Every week, we have a call with the client to show the ongoing progress

Result

With the high Customer Satisfaction, we have this project now running for eight years, during which we have enabled our client’s revenue and geographical growth
